Governing Board
The Palo Verde Board of Trustees consists of five Palo Verde community members elected to this position by public vote. This board assists the district in planning, budgeting, and implementing school programs. 

Board Of Trustee Meetings
The presiding officer or a majority of the board members may call special meetings of the board at any time. The officer or board members shall post this notice at least 24 hours before the meeting in a location freely accessible to the public.

Hearing: Internet Safety  Policy  January 8, 2020 5:00pm at the Regular Meeting of the Palo Verde Union Elementary School District Board of Trustees. Meeting to be held at the district office 9637 Ave 196, Tulare CA. The Child Internet Protection Act requires schools and libraries to have protective measures in place to block or filter access to pictures that are obscene, child pornography, or harmful to minors. Part of this requirement includes adopting internet safety policy. This policy must be in place in order for schools and libraries to receive ERATE funding. Before adopting an internet safety policy, schools and libraries must provide reasonable notice and hold at least one public hearing or meeting to address the proposal. The governing board must then approve the plan.
